I am dedicated to making your bridal visions a reality! Every look I create is custom designed to fit your ideas and to compliment the style and color scheme of your special day! Beyond the make up, I give you a "celebrity" style experience you will never forget! Picture this: As you enter the common space of your home or accommodations, I have transformed it into a bridal suite with professional lighting, premium products, chair, set up to be all about you!

Step 1

Your first step is to reach out to me! All you need to do is fill out the contact form at the bottom of any page on my site, including this one :) I'll respond within 48 hours confirming if I'm available for your date... hope I am!

We'll schedule a time to talk so we can get to know each other and put a face (or voice) to a name! This can be over the phone, facetime, or in person. But if you prefer we can stick to email.

Step 2

This next step could go in any order...
I recommend A then B :)

A: You're so excited and ready to save your date. (woohoo!) We'll go over all of the fine print and you'll sign the contract.
B: Schedule and have your preview. This is our rehearsal for the morning of your wedding day. You'll feel confident and prepared for your best day ever!

Step 3

I'll create a skin care cheat sheet that lists all of the services I recommend and a timeline of when they should be. This will also include an at home skin care routine. I'll make sure your skin is glowing for your best day ever!

I'll check in with you every so often to to make sure you're on schedule.

Step 4

It's your best day ever!!!!

All you have to do is be present and enjoy your day with your friends and family. I'll take care of the rest.

Makeup Application

+ Let's get real, your makeup won't look good unless your skin looks good. At the beginning of all my sessions I include skin prep!
+You're probably thinking "Is skin prep just primer?" And the answer to that is absolutely not!
+ I'll be using all of the techniques I learned as a licensed esthetician to look at your skin and prepare your skin with cleansers, toners, serums, moisturizers guaranteeing that you'll look your absolute best!

Q: CAN I BOOK MY TRIAL BEFORE I BOOK MY WEDDING DAY?
A: Of course. I want you to feel secure with your decision! Please keep in mind that I do not hold a date without a signed contract and 50% non-refundable retainer and there is a risk that in the meantime someone may inquire for the same date.

Q: CAN YOU STAY FOR TOUCH UPS?
A: Yes, touch ups begin immediately after the last makeup application.

Q: DO YOU DO HAIR?
A: I specialize in makeup application and do not provide hair services at this time. I'm happy to provide a recommendation!

Q: CAN YOU COME TO ME ON MY WEDDING DAY?
A: Yes! Melanie Makeup Artistry only provides on-location makeup services. There isn't anywhere I won't travel to!

Q: HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I BOOK?
A: It's best to reach out as soon as possible to be sure that your date is available! At least 9 months in advance is recommended, but it's never too late to inquire!

Q: HOW DO I BOOK?
A: Fill out our contact form and I will get back to you as soon as possible! I will then discuss your wedding vision and makeup style. I will send you your contract and 50% retainer invoice. Your date is officially booked once these are completed.
